19THC CHINESE HAND PAINTED FOLDING SCREEN
a large and impressive five fold mahogany framed folding screen, each panel brightly painted with a variety of figures and scenes. Including a variety of warriors on horseback, court figures and their attendants, various buildings with figures in conversation, landscape scenes including mountains etc. Each panel glazed, with brass hinges to each section and the back of the screen with material covering. Each panel 208cms high by 54cms across (including frame).
