A 19TH CENTURY EMERALD AND DIAMOND BROOCH
of boat shape, centred with a cushion-shaped emerald within a gold openwork design set with twelve graduated pear-shaped emeralds and sixteen old brilliant-cut or rose-cut diamonds, 6.5cm. long.
Accompanied by report number 12365 from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory dated 26th February 2016 stating that the square cushion shaped natural mixed-cut emerald measures 7-8mm. x 3.5mm, and shows evidence of minor clarity enhancement. Origin opinion: Colombia.
