(3) Provenance: Formerly at Motcombe House, Shaftesbury, Dorset, once the home of the Barons Stalbridge (cousins of the Duke of Westminster). Hugh Grosvenor, 2nd Lord Stalbridge (1880-1949) had sold the estate in 1918 but the whole transaction of 13,500 acres and tenanted farms took 11 years to complete. It is now Port Regis School.
