In The Style of Terence Cuneo.
A watercolour and bodycolour drawing on tinted light grey paper depicting, in horizontal format, an aero-engined racing car from the 1920s, seemingly speeding along the track at Brooklands, and with a fast-moving express train in the background. Evidently inspired by the work of Cuneo and with an imitation of his characteristic signature in the bottom left-hand corner, the detailed painting is nevertheless by a competent unknown artist. Mounted, framed and glazed. Visible image size 33 x 47cm. Good condition.
