The Raleigh Medal 1893.
A highly decorative presentation medal inscribed, '1000 Miles World Record and 24 Hours Irish Road Record', with blue-enamelled script 'Lawrence Fletcher Anfield Bicycle Club' to the front. Manufactured by Wright and retailed by Vaughton's, both of Birmingham, assayed 9ct gold with blue-enamelled script. Also, a 9ct gold assayed medal, inscribed on the rear, '50 miles - 2h 44m 12s, W. E. Till - Unpaced', the front inscribed WWCC 1906. (2)
