1st ed, 1887, in the original pictorial board covers with gilt lettering/decoration to the spine, with numerous illustrations by Viscount Bury and Joseph Pennell. Cover edges a little rubbed and slight wear to the covers, occasional foxing internally, the frontispiece badly affected, front and rear hinges weak and also between pages 176 and 177, but otherwise a generally sound octavo volume.
