Joe Cooke Imperial Petrel Semi-lightweight. A bicycle with a celebrated 'Superigid' frame with semi-circular stiffening tubes between the head and down-tube and the seat stays and rear forks. A frame number cannot be identified, possibly due to over-painting. However, although the Sturmey Archer FW rear hub is dated 1947, the bicycle is believed to date from the 1930s. Other features include Chater Lea chain set and pedals, Cantilever braking, 26-inch Roman rims and tyres, 18-inch semi-drop handlebars with cork grips, Brooks B64 saddle and Bluemels mudguards.

“Just wanted to say what lovely staff you have. Literally everyone is so polite and friendly and it really is a pleasure dealing with all of them. I’m sure you know the above but honestly I have dealings with loads of rooms and none of the staff are a patch on yours.”
