Lot 261

Buckley Brothers of Forest Hill. With a 21-inch frame numbered 2107, this is an early 1930s bicycle, delightfully retaining what appears to be its original green enamel finish and the remains of original decals. The drive is via a Sturmey Archer three-speed hub dated 1947 with a lever selector on the 16-inch handlebars, unusual centre-pull TB brakes are fitted, as are rat-trap pedals, Wrights leather saddle, bottle carrier and unusual grey coloured Bluemels mudguards.

“I just wanted to thank you for all your help with sorting mum’s possessions out. You have been kind, compassionate, professional and are clearly experts in your field. You have both communicated every step of the process, so I felt very informed and confident that I could leave everything to you. You have managed to make a stressful process not stressful at all!! Ryan and Jayden were also brilliant when they came to take the furniture. Thanks so much to you all. I’ve been full of praise for you all, and Lawrences, to anyone who’s asked me how the sale of mum’s house is going. I’ll definitely be recommending!”
