The Autocar, 1911 - 1914.
Four hardbound quarto volumes, ex-Coventry City Library, in half-leather and thick grey boards, holding issues of The Autocar from Vol. XXVI, No. 794, Jan 7th, 1911 to No. 805, March 25th, 1911; Vol. XXX, No. 898, Jan 4th, 1913 to No. 905, Feb 22nd, 1913; Vol. XXXII, No.950, Jan 3rd, 1914 to No. 958, Feb 28th, 1914; and Vol. XXXII, No. 967, May 2nd, 1914 to No.975, June 27th, 1914. The issues are bound without the advertisements but with their covers, and appear generally clean and sound, but with page browning through age. The lot also includes two other volumes of issues, the first hardbound in dark green cloth, covers loose and with the spine strip loosely inserted, along with a loose title page and index for Vol. XXX, Jan - June,1913, holding the issues from Vol. XXX, No. 911, April 5th, 1913 to No. 923, June 28th, 1913; the other volume, with just a loose back cover, holds the issues from Vol. XXXI, No. 924, July 5th, 1913 to No. 932, August 30th, 1913 (last page loose).
