Ouragan Medusa.
A mythical figure by George Poitvin, probably for the retailer Hermes in the 1920s. Signed 'G. Poitvin' on the dais, with the Syndicate des Fabricators de Bronzes foundry socle and numbered 2113. Excellent flowing detail, hollow cast, nickel-plated on bronze. 4ΒΌ-inches (11cm) high, not mounted.
