Colin George - A 'Farman Cars' Icarus Mascot
as retailed by Finnigan's of Bond Street, London, but crafted in Paris in the mid-1920s. With very good detail, numbered 5295, signed by the artist and with the impressed foundry Socle of Contenot-Lelievre. Nickel-plated on bronze, inscribed Finnigan's - London at the front of the hollow base. 6-inches (15cm) high.
