Georges Carette & Co. Open Drive Limousine. As featured in the 1911 Carette catalogue and described as a 'Landaulette' numbered 3358/39, this transfer-printed tin plate model is 13-inches long and 7½-inches high. Propelled by a spring motor, this is the better-quality example, possessing a brake lever operating the rear wheels and a reverse lever on the driver's side. In good general condition with red coachwork and gilt highlights, the 'Mors' style radiator is nickel-plated. Some remedial work to the running boards, wheels and steering column. A rare, well-crafted toy.

“I just wanted to thank you for all your help with sorting mum’s possessions out. You have been kind, compassionate, professional and are clearly experts in your field. You have both communicated every step of the process, so I felt very informed and confident that I could leave everything to you. You have managed to make a stressful process not stressful at all!! Ryan and Jayden were also brilliant when they came to take the furniture. Thanks so much to you all. I’ve been full of praise for you all, and Lawrences, to anyone who’s asked me how the sale of mum’s house is going. I’ll definitely be recommending!”
