* In 1950, Rockwood (built in 1924) was owned by Major and Mrs Henry Clark. Clark (1904-1977) served with the RUC from 1920-1962 and was a JP, later becoming High Sheriff of Co. Derry in 1957. He was awarded the MBE in 1962.
