* At the age of 22, the artist graduated from the Athens School of Fine Art where he had studied under Konstantinos Parthenis and Spyridon Vikatos. He exhibited extensively for over thirty years, showing his work in Italy, Finland, Canada and the United States. He was nominated for a Guggenheim Award in 1965. His works are displayed in the National Gallery of Athens.
Provenance: A gift from the artist to the vendor upon the occasion of her wedding in 1974.
