HORSE RACING INTEREST: GLASS RUMMER, dated 1816, the facetted, bucket shaped bowl with engraved inscription 'Prince Leopold, Won the Darbey, in 1816/William Cooper', on a ball stem and spreading foot, height 13.5cm Footnote: Prince Leopold was a thoroughbred race horse that won the Epsom Derby in 1816. He was bred by the Duke of York and foaled at his Oakland Park stud. His trainer was William Butler, perhaps erroneously referred to as Cooper on this rummer.
