a set of 8 carved 19thc ivory figures, all representing characters from Charles Dickens. 7 mounted on turned wooden bases and with name plaques, Capt Cuttle, Job Trotter, Mr Pecksniff, Micawber, Mr Dick, Weller and Mrs Camp. With one additional figure on a replacement plastic base. Possibly from the Dieppe region, Weller 14.5cms high. (7)
