RARE EARLY ROVER IMPERIAL BICYCLE - 1902 an unusual shaft driven bicycle, made by Imperial Rover of Coventry in 1902. With a leather Middlemore seat, and Silver King Lucas Lamp. With an attached metal plaque with writing on both sides which reads, Imperial Rover Coventry, Made in 1902, one of very few experimental shaft driven bicycles, owned and ridden by Mr Walter Driver an employee at Imperial Rover & founder of Drivers Toy Shop. The last cycle to be renovated by F George & Son, W-S-M. Also with Bartleet's Bicycle Book (1931), a photograph of Wells Amateur Bicycle Club 1879, Weston Super Mare Cycling Club 1894 etc. 112cms high
