A RUSSIAN SAPPHIRE AND GOLD BROOCH
the gold brooch of knot design and centred with an oval cabochon sapphire, bears the Russian city mark for St. Petersburg to the pin, of an anchor and a grapnel crossing a scepter, dating it to post 1741, and maker's mark F x K, 4.5cm. long.
