FERDINAND VON MILLER - GERMAN BRONZE BOWL a circular bronze bowl, impressed marks to the vase FvM and foundry marks. 5 1/2ins (14cms) diameter *Ferdinand Von Miller (1813-1887) was a German artisan noted for his furtherance of bronze founding, and established the Munich foundry as a state institution. His son Ferdinand Miller was an ore caster and sculptor who later became Director of the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
