PAIR OF ART NOUVEAU GLASSES in the manner of Otto Prutscher, the opaque glasses with a circular bowl and faceted stem. Possibly designed for the Wiener Werkstatte. Unmarked, 4 1/2ins (11.5cms) high *Otto Prutscher (1880-1949) was born in Vienna in 1880, and was an important designer in the early 20thc with an association with Josef Hoffman and the Wiener Werkstatte. He worked in glass, but also with furniture, ceramics, textiles and other mediums.
