AN EDWARDIAN NATURAL PEARL AND DIAMOND BROOCH
the oval-shaped openwork foliate design is centred with a natural pearl and two old brilliant-cut diamonds, within a foliate surround of rose-cut diamonds, a further surround of rose-cut diamonds mounted with natural pearls, 6cm. wide.
In fitted box by The Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company Ltd., 112 Regent Street, London W.1.
Accompanied by report number 14249 from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory dated 23rd May 2017 stating that the central part-drilled, button shaped pearl measures 9.5-9.8 x 8.0mm.,the forty part drilled pearls are varying in width from 3.0 to 3.3mm., and all are natural saltwater pearls.
