UNUSUAL 19THC SAMPLER
with a large number of names (31) and dates starting from 1846 through to 1868, each child's piece has then been stitched together to make one long narrow piece of embroidery (not framed). Also with a small framed sampler with alphabet and numbers. Large sampler 229cms by 21cms. (2)
*It is possible this was made at an Orphanage or Workhouse as the names are spread over a long period.
