19THC MUSICAL BOX - DUCOMMUN GIROD an early musical box with a 4 air movement, with three brass levers accessed on one side and winding hole. Stamped on the mechanism Ducommun Girod, 7509 (same number on base), the songsheet with the 4 tunes listed, in a plain wooden case and with a lovely quality steel and wooden winding key (probably lignum). Teeth intact and mechanism in working order, comb and cylinder in need of a clean. Cylinder 19.5cms long, Case 32cms long
