A 19thC REPRODUCTION RAPIER.
A well made mid 17thC style Rapier, produced during the 19thC possibly for a Pageant at that time. Multi-bar steel guard with wire wrapped grip and bulbous pommel. The blade measures some 45" of slim tapering form and has an overall length of 54.1/2". A well made reproduction of interest to collectors and possibly interior designers, etc.
