AN AERIAL BOMB etc. A No 2 Inert Rifle Grenade type, modified for Royal Flying Corps usage, by metal vanes. Usually cloth streamers were used though rare enough in that guise, far fewer of this type are in evidence. In good overall condition with much of the internal mechanism present, standing some 10" high, with Company and 8mm markings. The Cotton Powder Co, Hales Patent, London. Also other partial detonator caps and rifle ammunition inert cases etc, are with this lot.
