Listed as serving in th 57th Surrey 'Hitcham Battalion' Home Guard, in the S W Sub-Area, County of London. Seniority date 1st February 1941, whilst serving in the T A & A F Association. The BOI contains his original award slip, stating 2-0 from the War Office.
