THE MOUNTED MEDALS & CASED FOREIGN AWARDS RAF/D-CORPS.
1939/45 & Pacific Stars, Defence & War Medal with MID Emblem. A Cased Royal Norwegian Order Knight of St Olav 1st Class. Breast mount with rosette and ribbon present. Two cased Orders of Nassau (one 5th class) one with rosette on the ribbon. Both for breat wear. A cased French Maritime Merit Order with Merchant Marine reverse, again for breast wear.
The first four medals are mounted for wear, the latter four are on neck or breast bars. A mounted miniature group of eight are with the lot. Only one of the Orders of Nassau and an Order of Vasa miniature is in its place.
After retiring from the Royal Air Force a career in the Diplomatic Service followed, for which the Foreign Orders were awarded.
