AN 1805 FLANK OFFICERS SWORD.
An 1805 pattern Flank Officers sword with the scabbard throat, bearing Prosser of Charing Cross London markings. The 30" curved blade has light decoration at the forte of foiliage and trophies etc. The hilt with Lions Head pommel and GR cypher in the knuckle guard, also a grenade. Pierced oval guard , the scabbard of gilded brass mounts and black leather with two ring mounts.
