A George V Territorial Efficiency medal named to 510282 Sjt T Cannell RE.
Thomas Cannell was issued with British War & Victory Medals on his MIC details. He was also serving in the Wiltshire Regt as 748 and again in the RE number (T) 4201. He also received a Silver Wound Badge under List RE / 4628
In the Territorial Force under number 5212, he was an acting Company Sergeant Major and at one time was hospitalised in 1917 with Influenza. A note with the medals suggests he may have been serving in the Wessex Division RE, before being draughted into the 58th Divisional Signals Company.
