Once hit by a 550lb bomb which hit the bridge and came out through the ships side, one of the attacking Junkers JU88's was shotdown by the ships AA guns. She also took survivors off the Cruiser HMS Hampshire, when that ship was sunk. Sold off in 1950, her motto was Tenaciter Sequer 'I follow tenaciously'. Her crest 'On a green field a Harrier gold'.
