A 19thC 'BAYONET'S' COMPANION SET.
Mounted on a brass column with brass mounts and circular base, consisting of French 1874 Epee bayonets. Adapted to poker,.shovel and tongs, standing some 31.1/2" high. An attractive fireside set, that can be used if required to be more than just decorative. A fourth bayonet handle fixed at the top, enables it to be moved easily.
