*Mr Makepeace has confirmed that this was made using Indian Rosewood, and therefore does not require a licence to sell. This was made when Mr Makepeace was still based at Banbury in Oxfordshire. It was commissioned by the vendors parents in 1965, and comes with a copy of the original receipt for the work.
