JOHN MAKEPEACE - INDIAN ROSEWOOD & SYCAMORE BOOKCASE the top section with 3 sycamore and rosewood open shelves. The bottom section with a hinged top to reveal a cut out section (possibly for a television or record player), and with cupboards below and leather tab handles. 78ins (198cms) high *Mr Makepeace has confirmed that this was made using Indian Rosewood, so does not require a licence to sell. This was made when Mr Makepeace was still based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. It was commissioned by the vendors parents in 1965 and comes with a copy of the original receipt for the work.
