JOHN MALTBY (BORN 1936) a stoneware teapot of slender shape, painted with various motifs to both sides and a tenmoku glaze around the rim. With a bamboo handle also with a John Maltby tea bowl. Teapot with painted mark, Maltby, tea bowl with impressed seal mark. Teapot 10ins (25.5cms) high to top of handle, Tea Bowl 3 1/4ins (8.5cms) high. (2)
