A group of four comprising Defence Medal and War Medal, General Service Medal with Palestine 1945-48 clasp named to 2547499 BDR W. Furley R.A. and a Regular Army Long Service Good Conduct medal named to S.SGT W.A. Furley R.E.M.E. Mounted as worn. A pair comprising General Service Medal with Northern Ireland clasp named to 24295866 CPL W.R. Furley R.E.M.E. and a Regular Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal similarly named, court mounted with accompanying miniatures. Furley Senior was awarded the GSM whilst serving with the 66th (Airborne) Anti Tank Regiment with the rank of War Substantive Bombardier. He is recorded as becoming eligible for LSGC Medal on 6/4/1906.
