A 1914 - 15 STAR TO THE WEST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT, CASUALTY AND POW.
A 1914-15 Star named to 12966 Private A. Burnard of the West Yorkshire Regiment. Private Arthur Burnard served with the 12th (Service) Battalion who are recorded as landing in Havre in September 1915. Burnard had a s short war as he is listed on the casualty list of 29th Oct 1915 as missing. On the 9th Feb 1916 this was corrected to wounded and a prisoner of war.
