A FIRST WORLD WAR CASUALTY PAIR TO THE TANK CORPS. A First World War pair comprising 1914-15 Star and Victory Medal named to 8458 Private F. Arnell Hamps Frederick Parnell is recorded as being wounded on the 9th June 1915 when serving with the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force in Gallipoli. He later joined the Tank corps as a Sargent number 69450, in March of 1918 he suffered with a wound to his left eye when serving with the 6th Battalion.
