A GREAT WAR TRIO AND LONG SERVICE GROUP.
A group of four comprising 1914-15 Star to J.17025 S.R. Gill, A.B. R.N. War Medal and Victory Medal similarly named and a Long Service and Good Conduct Medal to J.17025 S.R. Gill A.B. R.N. H.M.S. Nelson. Mounted as worn. Sydney Richard Gill, was born in Bournemouth on 28/2/1896. He is recorded as serving aboard HMS Centurion and it is recorded that a duplicate set of Great War Medals were issued to H.M.S. London.
