A FIRST WORLD WAR PAIR AND PHOTOGRAPH OF THE PROBABLE RECIPIENT. A Great War pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 37482 Pte. A. Moore Glouc. R. and a Defence Medal, unnamed as issued in postal delivery box addressed to A.G, Moore 9 Beacon Way, Chorley Wood, Herts, to the reverse 'T.A.Headquuarters, Oxford Road, Aylesbury', with a medal slip listing a single medal. With a photograph of a Cavalry Trooper on horseback, believed to be the recipient, image 24 x 30cm, framed and glazed, overall 51 x 64cm. Alfred Moore served as a Private in the Gloucestershire Regiment (37482), 3rd Hussars (23703) and the Machine Gun Corps Cavalry (105086).
