A MOUNTED CRIMEA MEDAL.
A Crimea Medal mounted on a cannon ball as a silver capped inkwell. The Reverse of the medal showing mounted in a three inch cannon ball standing on three small round feet, the reverse of the cannon ball mounted with a circular silver plaque engraved with conjoined initials, possibly R.H. de M, With a domed silver lid surmounted by a crown, hallmarked for London 1857, on a stepped triform wooden base with concave sides. 16cm high.
