A CHINA WAR MEDAL 1900.
A China War Medal 1900, named in capitals to F. Parsons, Boy 1 Cl, H.M.S. Goliath. Detached from suspension and previously brooch mounted. H.M.S. Goliath was a pre-dreadnought battleship which saw varied service in China and oher theatres of war, she played an active part in the Great War being part of the Dardanelles and Gallipoli actions before being sunk in Morto Bay off Cape Helles in 1915.
