An American Blue and black wool Kepi by M.C. Lilley & Co. Manufacturers of Military Goods, Columbus Ohio. The light blue top with a red diamond above an 'E' the front with '16' within a wreath, the gilt side buttons 'Excelsior' beneath an eagle with wings outstretched and a crest. 24cm front to back.
