with ebony stringing and flush brass hinges and cartouche, the red leather interior fitted with six mounted cut-glass bottles/jars and four rectangular mounted glass boxes (one with a screw-down cover) and a small tray of steel tools, the cover interior with a concealed stationary wallet, & the front of the box with a jewellery drawer, the mounts with engine-turning & the initials "MB", by Thomas Johnson, London 1855; the box 12.6" (32 cms) wide
