A LATE 18TH / EARLY 19TH CENTURY COVERED MILK JUG
of baluster form on three legs, decorated with part-fluting around the lower body, qwith a sculpted cover, traces of two marks on the handle (indistinct), and a late 18th / early 19th century circular sugar bowl on three legs, with an everting shell & scroll rim, maker's mark "H.H" (struck twice) and another mark (man's head in profile) struck once, (for Old Portuguese silverware), both unascribed, probably Portuguese; the jug 6.3" (16 cms) high; 22.6 oz (2)
