carved date 1905, the frieze with carved Latin inscription reading 'Perscrvtata Tene Nova Semita Lvbrica Saepe' above a panelled back with carved floral roundels, the mid-section with further foliate carving throughout, bulbous supports and three small cupboards with carved crests, including for Trinity College, Oxford, the base with two larger panelled cupboards flanked by diamond carving, the sides similarly carved throughout, height 223cm, width 223cm, depth 63cm
