of sarcophagus form with sloping sides, the lid mounted with a central Napoleonic hat and sword, the sides with eagles with wings outstretched amongst military trophies, the interior with an ink well, two pen holders and sand pot with pierced lid, this removable to reveal Napoleon in uniform below, all on a marble base, height 12cm
