with an arched brass dial, the arch with a convex silvered roundel engraved with an eagle on rocks, above a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals signed Vale Coleshill, with central seconds dial and pierced gilt spandrels to the corners. With an eight day two train movement striking on a bell, the tall case with allover later carving, the door flanked by quarter recessed reeded columns with brass capitals, with two weights, pendulum and winder, height 240cm
