19th century, the movement in a drum shaped case beneath a rococo cherub and resting on the back of a bull, the dial with inset enamelled numerals, with a two train 'Japy Freres type' movement striking on a bell, the bull standing on an elaborately cast and pierced base with a lizard amongst foliage, on a malachite effect base, with key and pendulum, height 36cm
