Tipped-in to volume one is a bookseller's description for this copy that notes, 'Lowndes gives a long account of the rarity of this work more so the last parts (10 & 11). The present copy cost its late owner £20 in the Hamilton sale, it is one of the most curious books relating to Early British History...'
