Provenance: Originally made for a pair of portraits by Thomas Murray, 1729,which were hung at Havilland Hall, Guernsey until 1923; thence to Horkesley Hall, Little Horkesley, Suffolk until 1952; thence to Dame Olivia de Havilland and hung at her house in Paris until 2017; thence to a relative of Dame Olivia de Havilland
